Tucson Gem Shows

A Bead Carnival (formerly ABC East) is proud to be a venue in Tucson’s semi-annual Gem & Mineral Show. This gem show is the largest in the world and is held around the first two weeks in February and a smaller fall show held four days in September. We think you’ll find our spacious showroom a welcome retreat from the crowded tents. Find us at 3301 E. Pennsylvania St. (NWC Randolph and Pennsylvania) in the heart of Tucson’s gem shows on the Palo Verde corridor. Our showroom is open to the public for retail sales and accommodates wholesale buyers with credentials. See show schedule below for exact dates.

The 2012 show will feature some of the best vintage dealers in the business: Ben Eagle with Stone Mountain who has some of the coolest things like nailheads, old crystal, old seed beads, cabochons, and a whole tent full of things; along with George Sumpter with huge stocks of all types of old beads and crystals, vintage cabochons, intaglios, and cameos. We always have Weir Studios with their unique and beautiful fused glass pendants and larger fused glass art objects. Several other vendors always arrive at the last minute and we never know who they might be until right around show time. Of course, A Bead Carnival (formerly ABC Direct/A Bead Circus) will have on display the vintage glass beads from Germany as well as vintage buttons and vintage Swarovski crystal and a huge selection of very nice semi-precious beads at incredible Gem Show prices for both retail and wholesale buyers. If you like the Chinese crystal, you will find some of the best prices anywhere and a huge selection here.

As a bonus, you’ll find us open at 8:00 am daily during the February show, hours before the other venues. So, come by and see us first – you’ll be glad you did!
